πππYEAH!!πππ I'm amazing! π Ok, no more amazing than the thousands of other people who have also completed couchto5k And it has taken me 12 weeks to complete a 9 week programme! (I blame the 8 week heatwave, holidays, a summer cold, the rain....!) Point is, I've still gone and done it πππ And the even more extraordinary thing is, I've actually discovered I enjoy running! This is the biggest revelation of all! π± Don't expect to see me signing up for a marathon or anything - I'm not crazy! π But a Halloween 5K Fun Run is now the next goal! So, watch this space...! πππ»Thanks, Michael Johnson, it's been a blastπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Congratulations... that heat in the summer was a %}^#er and a halt. Yes, you are amazing. Great work... celebrate loud and proud... and enjoy that Halloween 5k.
Me too!! I finished today too. Such a great feeling. My plan is a Park run at the end of this month with my son & son-in-law so need to work up to completing 5k now that I've finished the programme. Congratulations to us and all other graduates
Well done - it is such a great achievement and feeling. I would hang around here and consolidate a bit, give Parkrun a go if you can and then there is the Bridge to 10k forum.
Remember those words "Don't expect to see me signing up for a marathon or anything - I'm not crazy" They have been uttered by many before you - and most of those now on the marathon running and race support forum!
Congratulations "Midyearresolution" (a bit of a mouthful username) on completing and graduating here on C25K, you deserve you graduation badge and the word graduate on the right-hand side of your username. To get that leave a message on the October graduate post in the pinned posts on the right-hand side of the Healthunlocked Home Page, just tell the administrators that you have completed W9R3. By the way, I don't think you or anyone else is crazy once they have completed this program to suggest that in the future they wish to run a marathon, many people who have ran a marathon started with a similar type of program like this one. I for one am like you, I graduated last June 18 but have no intention of running a half or full marathon ever, perhaps a 10K but no further. Once again well done on graduating.
