So after my W6R3 run not going so well with stopping and starting I took everyone's advice and slowed right down this morning. It was the best run I've done, slow (verrrrry slooowww) and steady. I really enjoyed it, can't believe I ran for 25 minutes. I definitely slowed down as my distance including the warm up and cool down walks was 4.04km compared to the 4.31km on Friday.

I'm super pleased with this morning - thank you everyone for your advice. I am slowly becoming a runner!!!! Yay!!!

Well done! It is the right way to do it. Reach the milestones and then improve your stats as stamina grows. Everything is possible! Happy running!!

Well done. Slowing down a bit definitely makes all the difference between an enjoyable run and a hard slog! 🙂

Great job... slowing down is sensible, you can speed up again in a few weeks.
