I finally did it!

I completed my graduation run on Saturday and managed 5kms in 32 minutes, which was a little quicker than last time.

First 'post-grad' run and I just ran 5 kms in 30 minutes dead - not sure if you can tell but I am sooooo pleased.

Must admit to being in London this week on business so my run was an awful lot flatter than the rolling hills of Somerset, so I may never do it again but ....

Right, off to look up the next phase of the programme and to ask for my badge :)

Will look out for the shiny green thing!

All the best

Thanks Greenlegs.

Just read your post about running for 54 minutes!

Am inspired enough to try a longer run on Saturday - not sure I could last that long though :)

What a great first post-grad achievement! Very well done and congratulations! :) If only all of London were flat.....but then compared to the undulating landscape of Somerset it is!! ;) Not quite the same scenery though......

Thanks Sue - I ran round Hyde Park so it really was quite flat, will make a note to avoid hotels in hilly areas of London for my next visit ;)

There were so many other runners out as well, certainly spurred me on.

Hyde Park must be nice to run round actually; I must try it after work when it's lighter or Regents Park. Thanks for the tip!
