I went for a run in my local town this morning while my daughter was in her ballet class. I did some stretches before the run instead of the traditional 5min walk so Strava only measured my run.
A nice mix of up and downhill but I greatly underestimated how far I can run on a flatter route! I thought 4km would be fine but of course my usual average pace of approx 7.5 min/km normally involves steep hills so I rushed around today with an average pace of 6.36 min/km and almost hit 5km just running 😳😅
Next Saturday (weather permitting...) I’ll try to go a teeny bit faster!

I do like my usual warm up walk but I have a limited amount of time so probably can’t fit the full five mins in. I can probably experiment and walk the first part next week ☺️
