How Quick Do You Lose Fitness?

I hurt my calf last week during Week 7 Run 1. I don't think I will be able to run again until the weekend. Can anyone advise me if nearly two weeks off running will have set my fitness back a long way and if I should go back a couple of weeks?

Last night I did my first run after having had 3 weeks off. I thought I'd probably have to drop back a couple weeks but decided to pick up where I left off and see how it went. Really shocked myself by managing to complete the run. It's amazing how your body remembers! Ache a bit today tho...

An occasional extended break can sometimes be very beneficial, giving the body and mind time to reset and you come back stronger. I'm sure you'll just be able to continue but keep it slow and steady especially at the start to give yourself an extended warm up
