after a cold and miserable run on Saturday pleased to say week 7 has started well.
Have been able to keep going over the past few runs to get to 5km, today finishing it in just under 32 mins.
Having not run regularly since “life before children” it’s great to be back on it.
Looking back to Week 1 then this was definitely not a foreseeable outcome - I puffed and sweated through the first four weeks, but then by week 5 something clicked and I’ve been enjoying getting out there.

Not long to graduation now, well done. Be mindful of looking for a plan if you want to run further afterwards. It is a very delicate time. The brain and the body thinks it can run until you drop and that is ok. But the joints can get injured without structured increases.
