Yep! My 3rd run since graduating. Did two runs earlier this week of 30mins and tonight did my first ever timed 5k. Came in at 38mins 21. I'm happy with that but happier that I exceeded all previous 30mins run by almost 8.5mins
Ulitimately, I'd like to improve on the time but more important to me, is that I can actually keep running for a period of time. The alternative is, wait for it.....to sit on the couch, haha!!!!

Well done! That's a very respectable time and a great effort running beyond 30 mins. You now enter the difficult 'post-graduation consolidation' phase! I faffed around a bit without much clarity before deciding to run 5k every time for a few weeks. Then I committed to getting to 10k and started Ju-Ju's bridge to 10k programme. Keep up the good work!
Thank you. For the time being, I'm happy doing three weekly 30mins as consolidation. I did the 5k this evening more out of curiosity. I'll probably do another at some point as a "check run" but for now, I'm still buzzing that I managed over 38mins running and lived to tell the tale!
Well done Antonioa! Great run! I have been away in Spain for a week and haven't run for 8 days now. Really need to get back out there, I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to get off the sofa again! Am away for the day in Brighton tomorrow so all being well will aim for a 5k run on sunday
Wow Antonio you are a fast one! I'm finding it tricky establishing a post graduation routine but I seem to be settling to slow-and-steady - I am in awe of your fab time!
