I should be finishing week 3 today but instead I'm looking back on a week of zero running.
WK2R2 was great, felt strong and really enjoyed it. Couldn't fit my 3rd run in but thought I'd skip a day and do it then.
However, I've since had a really painful left knee, not on the kneecap but either side and behind on the ligament (no idea if this is the case).
So a week has gone and no running, don't want to further injure my knee. Now thinking that I should start from WK1 again when better.
Hopefully the knee will recover.
And it was going so well...

Oldfloss Administrator Graduate 6 years ago It happens... and is so frustrating too.... Maybe try some knee exercises.. and if the issue remains, then get it checked out

Take it from.. the runs are still there...and we do get back on track.

There is no rush. I spent weeks on week 2 because of dodgy knees. It is a nine stage programme. It doesn't have to be done in 9 weeks though.
Remember that your bones and ligaments take months to strengthen, not weeks. Make sure the knee is better then slow down when you resume.
