😁😁😁 completed week 4 whoop whoop

Having been on the treadmill this week u felt the need to get outside. So I head to the local view point. 3km walk with 170m elevation gain before (cause I'm not that daft!) I turn on the c25k app. I hate that blinkin hill, I'm sure it gets steeper every trip but at least this time I made it up without stopping. I remembered the c25k teachings, shortened my stride and slowed down , I did see a snail on the path and that made me smile x

A few seconds recovery at the top as I put my heaving lungs back into my chest cavity, blew the 6 gallons of snot (sorry) from my nose. Where does it all come from? And so quickly?

C25k app and runkeeper started. Pleased with the running. Cheery good morning's as I passed many a dog walker. The sun was shining and the view stunning. Worth the hike to the top of the β›°. Well what goes up must come down. The 1st 5 min section started as I headed down hill. It's chalky flint paths so extra care keeping the steps short.

Last 5 min run was on the flat back to the car park and I will admit to flagging at this point and Sarah hadn't given me the 2.5min check let alone the 60 seconds to go. Shortened stride again and didn't give in to the gremlins 😈 oh the joy of those words "you can slow down now, you've done it"

Reviewing runkeeper I was a whole 2 mins/km faster than I had been on the treadmill. I know downhill is faster than flat but I don't think it accounts for all the extra speed. No wonder I was pooped 😊.

Dead chuffed I've done it. Roll on week 5 on Monday πŸ€—

And congrats to my fellow week 4 chums and all forum members for helping me get this far πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
