I run 'naked'. IE with no tech etc. However, I shall be in London soon for a few days and would like to listen to music rather than traffic. Can anyone recommend a half-decent pair of lightweight headphones/earbuds that won't fall out? I need wired ones for my old iPod, and I tend to [without sounding too pretentios] listen to classical music, so not the bass heavy ones.

Somewhat subjective I know.

I have mixx audio ones- the sound is good. I find one ear falls out occasionally but generally quite good- don’t think they were too expensive.

Thank you. I have found that it is just about impossible to listen to these before buying due to hygiene rules - which I quite understand - but it does make it tricky.

My policy was to never spend more than £10 on earbuds. They tend to wear out pretty quickly (the wire breaks internally, or one ear goes very quiet, or you lose the rubbery-bit that goes in your ear). At £10 they are disposable, I suppose. My son spent ?£70? on some branded things - Beats maybe - and they lasted just over a year with daily use.

Just buy the cheapest things that you can find that come with a selection of different sized rubbery-bits to fit your ear. I reckon that a good fit (so they don't fall out) will help to improve the sound. But expect them all to be tuned for maximum bass.
