I can’t seem to fit my runs in now. I keep coming up with excuses and I keep missing my runs. It’s seem since I finished my last run in week 6, (really hard) my mind keeps telling me it’s gonna b difficult so have a break today....,,,,, it’s now coming up to 3 weeks😳😳😳

It is no harder than any run... relax.. the running legs are beginning to know what they are doing... Pick your running shoes up... and while you do think why you began this. If the reason is till there...??

Your motivation hides under your shoes alongside any gremlins.. so... put the shoes on and get out there. Slow and steady and enjoy... we are running with you..

Just get out there! :)

Of course it’ll feel hard to get back into the swing of things after a break, but running must be on your mind surely? You posted on here after all!

Go on, how about you make that day today? I’m heading out shortly. Dicky toe, windy outside, but I’ll come back feeling epic, and so will you. We’re here to cheer you on. Pop on those trainers, embrace your inner snail, and see where it takes you. 👏👏😀😀

Aww thanks for asking Mayanow! It’s still grumbling a little but the good thing is, it’s fine to run on! I did 5.5k yesterday and totally forgot it was sore. 👍

I’ve loosened the top half of the laces on my left trainer, as it’s the top of the foot which is most painful. Dangerous yoga! 🙄😅

Haha yeah satanic yoga!!!

Maybe you could pad it somehow so it feels soft where it's sore?

5.5k is great with 9 strong toes!! You rock!

I can relate to this, the hardest part is putting on the trainers and going. Once your out you will be so pleased you done it. Good luck and keep going. 🏃‍♀️

Please please please don't give up NOW! Week6 is hard but it is the huge leap to the world of running.

Don't think too much about it.

If it's been 3 weeks, pick the easiest of the w3 runs, do that one again and continue to w7. That's what i would do.

It would be a real shame if you give up now. You are soooo close!

Oldfloss has said it perfectly , you have come so far already, what got you out the front door for week1 is still there , put those running shoes on ,take a deep breath and go for it 😊

Ooh Shaz you’ve certainly got a bit of a mental block going on. Perhaps you’re putting far too much time and pressure into thinking about what the next run is going to be like. I would certainly encourage you to relax and just say I’ll see what I can do. No pressure. If you’re not feeling it, the world won’t end if you decide to stop and without the added pressure it’s not likely that you will.

Go ahead and have an exploratory run! Just go really slow and decide it doesn’t matter what the outcome is, every single run, short or long, is a win!! ❤️
