Week 5....sneaky!!

So I ran Week5 run 1 this evening. I have naively assumed that as per weeks 1-4, week 5 would be made up of 3 of the same runs. I figured I could build up my 5 minute runs in preparation for the big step up to 20 mins in week 7.

But NO!!!.... C25K have slipped a sneaky little change in and have made each run this week different, with Friday’s run being 20 minutes 🤭🤭🤭 AHHHHHH!!! Time to panic! 😮

What a MEGA step up!

It isn’t... really it isn’t. It’s challenging, but it’s very doable. Stop panicking! You can do it. I just did the one after, which looks easier, it isn’t, but you can do that one too. Slow and steady, you got this.

I felt exactly the same. There was nearly a mutiny when our run leader told us. Think positive, we all did it.

It is sneaky. But slow and steady is my motto. Start slow and build up of you feel like it If it's too much just slow down a bit more. You can do this

Thanks guys! I only seem to have one speed, and that is already prett slow haha. Not sure I can drop it down a gear! Let’s just hope....watch this space! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
