Did W9R3 this morning and even pulled it in at 5K.

Promptly burst into tears - of joy I think!

Thanks to everyone on this forum for their support and guidance!

Here are my week 9 runs.

Congratulations! Wow, 6 minute km pace is very fast for this stage. I’d cry too I think! Good work, and it’s celebration time 🍺🍺

Enjoy your next running adventure.

No wonder my eyeballs were out on stalks! Although sometimes it felt like I was not even moving!

When you’re in the zone that can happen, it’s so effortless that it’s almost not happening.

Never thought of it like that - thanks for pointing that out. 👍

Great stuff well done. If I clock 6k per min I'll cry, 'cause the tech's gone wrong again.

Have a well deserved glass, and slice of something naughty!

Thank you! I only tracked my week 9 runs so had no idea of how far I was getting in the time, or what a good time actually was. I just ran at a speed that felt ok and the average turned out to be 1km in 6 mins! Assuming the tech is accurate of course! 😂

It should be fairly close. I'd take it as right and use it as a benchmark for the coming weeks.

Brilliant, well done you! No shame in shedding a few tears, male or female it's a pretty incredible journey and I know I'll have a good bawl when I finish, I was bad enough when I ran for 20 minutes 😂

You are awesome DorsetRunner!! Glad to hear I'm the only one who cries on the milestone runs. Fingers crossed 🤞 I will run W9R3 tomorrow morning I know I'll be sobbing..😂😂

Wow that’s super speed 👏. Big congrats to you. Please humour me by saying you have really really long legs 😀.

DorsetRunner profile image
DorsetRunnerGraduate in reply toWimborne

Well I'm 6ft tall so not massively long legs, and it was not till I really looked at it that I thought I have probably been running too fast all of this time! So I have actually slowed it down a little - for the sake of my aged limbs!!
