Nearly a week between W5R1 and W5R2 and I was a bit scared of this week anyway, felt that I wasn't at my best but gave it a go anyway. A bit shocked that I managed to get through it fine. But next up is the 20 minute - this one scares the life out of me - but then I got on ok with the 2 x 8 min so just maybe.
Tomorrow is the day, so wish me luck

You're completely prepared for the 20 minutes. Usual advice applies: take it really slow, get lots of water on board this evening, and have a good sleep 😀 Good luck!
Thanks! I sometimes worry I'm taking it a bit too slowly, the first couple of runs I went "old school sprint speeds" now it's more of a fast walk - I chalk it up to getting old
You've got this jannerm ! You will be surprised how well previous week's have prepared you for this..it's all mental if you felt the 2 X 8 minutes was ok you are more than ready and when you finish you will awesome...Good Luck..go kick 20 minutes ass 👌
Thanks - I have a suspicion that it's all done very cleverly, and I like to think I'm mentally strong, but still, it's a big jump up over a couple of runs, have to say this forum and the parkrun community in general (I've not done any but the family have) is brilliant for support, so hope to be reporting back later I survived!
