Graduation awaits

Just about to go do W9R3. Feeling quite sad that this is my last programmed run, still confused about what distance I’m doing. W9R2 according to Nike run club I ran 5.63k ( this included warm up and cool down walk) but, I didn’t feel I was running very fast. The first 10 minuets I definitely ran too fast and had to slow down for the rest of the run. Interestingly the next day I walked the same route and although it took me around an hour to walk the app still gave the same distance. As it appears that not many people achieve 5k by the end of week 9 I’m doubting the accuracy of the app.

Good luck on the graduation run! Sounds like you’re going to smash it! 🙌🙌

You might be one of the 10% who do achieve 5k in 30 minutes, so kudos to you!! 👏👏👏👏

I’m just not convinced I’m going to run a different route just to see what distance I run.

Phones aren’t that reliable at measuring distance, but happily with C25K it doesn’t really matter. Good luck with your graduation run!

Just this minute got back used Nike app at same time and ended up running 33 minuets to get myself over the magic 5k. Going to have one too many drinks tonight to celebrate. I really can’t quite believe how far I’ve come in 9 weeks. ( well 11 weeks in total as I had 2 weeks off due to injury). Just hope I can keep up the good work and not give up now that I’ve come to the end.

To get the same inaccuracy two times running would be strange indeed... I say that’s how far you went! Enjoy the graduation run.

Hi I use map my run and start it when my run starts and turn it off when I finish running that way even though I still do the warm up and cool down I’m only measuring the run section 😊 well done on smashing 5k 😎😎

I tried the app but it was giving me a time check every 10 seconds at one point and it got on my nerves. So I ended up deleting it.
