Anyone else get to the end of week 7 or start week 8 and just gone for the whole 30 mins . After running for 28 mins in week 8 an extra 2 doesn't really seem that much to do ?!

From a can you do it point of view, there’s very little difference.

From a fitness point of view those three runs are important.

If you’re suggesting skipping week 8 I’d say be careful after week 9... if you’re suggesting doing 6 30 minute runs I’d say yeah, go for it.

Yeah I meant 6 30 min runs 👍 I went out for 25 min runs and ended up doing 28 on my last one so thought next week may as well try for the 30.

Yeah, go for it. Maybe you’ll be over 30 by the end.

I'll need to go over 30 to hit 5k I am nowhere near fast enough yet.

Fix that later... 5k isn’t important to the plan. There are several ways of working in that.

I ran 28 mins at the end of Wk7 so extended that to 30 mins in week 8. I was able to run it ok but felt a bit more tired at the end of week 8 so I took an extra days rest. I’ve now just ran 33 mins in week 9, so I would say yes if you feel up to it.
