I'm finding That I have trouble sleeping on my running day... I am running between thirty five to forty five mins covering nearly 5K.. I'm leaving two days between each run. I feel great when I'm running and feel as if I could go on for ever, but stop as I don't want to over do it?.. When I get home I feel amazing and full of energy , almost buzzing.. Gradually As the day goes on I feel pretty shattered , however can't seem to settle down and sleep at bed time ?? My body feels almost over stimulated.. Does anyone out there have this experience? Thankyou ..

It’s a tricky one. Have you tried any relaxation exercises? Something along the lines of Headspace may help.

I used to but it’s ok now I think it’s a case of your body has to adjust

Yes, I’m a bit like that. Always been a terrible sleeper and running hasn’t made it easier! I find I’m even worse if I run in the evening. My body feels tired but my mind can’t switch off!!! 😀
