I did Week 3 Run 2 on Thursday and found it much easier, it's crazy how quickly your body adapts just from doing C25K three times a week! π My legs hurt towards the end of the 3mins but the mind is so powerful if you let it be, which makes you keep powering on!
Today I'll be doing Week 3 Run 3 π Really looking forward to it...am I mad? Haha ππ»
I managed to take a photo on my 5min cool down which I've added π
I don't know if anyone else uses a treadmill on here but I walk at 5.0k and jog at 7.5k
Is that fast enough? I feel like I have a good steady pace π X

Well done LittleLauren! Youβre sounding just like a runner! Continue having fun, continue posting on here and youβll be loving it even more with each run! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπ
Sorry, Iβm not a treadmill user (Iβm scared of them!! π π³), so no help there.
Have s lovely weekend and happy running! β€οΈπββοΈβ€οΈ
Loving it thanks Lauren, in fact I graduated yesterday and Iβm still wearing the cheesy grin!! πββοΈπ I have a feeling it might last for quite a while! π
Hi little Lauren. Yes running on the treadmill at 7.5k is great.when I use mine (which is normally in the winter when weather is bad) thatβs about what I do too. I also incline at about 1.5% so to emulate running outside on the inclines.
Anyway sounds like youβve got the mix right. Although I have to say running outside will always be the better choiceπββοΈππ
Oh we were all like that once. People youβll find wonβt take any notice of you and if anything they will be thinking how great you are at running and theyβll be quietly thinking that they should really follow your example! Go on bite the bullet and head for the open roadπββοΈπββοΈπππ
Really thereβs nothing to it. Once your out there youβll wonder what stopped you from getting out sooner !π€π€
I didn't jog outside haha the treadmill was too tempting π
But I still jogged so that's good haha ππΌββοΈI felt it was easier still, quite comfortable...I start Week 4 on Tuesday so if I still feel the same I might jog at 8.0 instead of 7.5 π
Iβm the same, donβt mind runnIng on track at gym or treadmill, but donβt want to be seen outside. Yesterday I went with my son on a road run which made me less self conscious.
Iβm 57 and overweight. I started losing weight 5 weeks ago, then started walking on treadmill at gym, and in a mad moment two weeks ago thought β Iβm going to do couch2 5kβ. Just got back fro week 3 run 1 and feel so much better for it π
Hi yes thatβs what I do - I run at 7.5 but since the week 4 I have had to reduce it to 7.3. I try to walk at 5.8 but week 4 and seen me drop to 5.3 and for my final walk about 5 as I am shattered! Week 4 has been quite difficult and I am worried about week 5!
Don't worry about pace at all at the moment, the key is to complete the runs, speed and more distance can come later if you like, I started exclusively on treadmilld but now nix it up, running outdoors is different, you have to control your pace and a common mistake is to go too quickly, if you run outside, plan a route, I would suggest keeping it as flat as possible to begin with, keep us posted on your progress
