I've seen some on Amazon that are quite affordable and they seem to have all the features that the big brand watches have so I'm curious if anybody else uses one.
Anybody use a smart watch that isn't FitBit or... - Couch to 5K
Anybody use a smart watch that isn't FitBit or Apple Watch?
I use the Apple watch with strava works a treat and I track my food via my fitness pal and it all works together and I’ve had no issues so far. (I didn’t buy the watch for this already had it so it can be expensive).
If it's for running get a Garmin - works with Strava etc and designed for running.
Hi, soon after I started I bought a cheap fitbit type watch, think it was called lintelek. It was great and had all the features of a fitbit but much cheaper BUT the app kept crashing which made it useless. After the third time it happened ( and on line loads of people were finding the same problem) and I lost all the data again I decided it was time to ditch it and start afresh. I now have a fitbit but as most people seem to recommend the garmin is probably better. Happy shopping!
Hi, just a little tip. Check compatibility with your phone. I have a Fitbit which works well. But have recently got a new phone (Huawei), after trying to pair with the app without success, I then checked to discover the two are incompatible. I now have to sync on my laptop. This means I cant use the GPS feature, as it uses the phone, or get notifications.
My son has Huawei fit band which he gets along with really well. It is great for running and cycling, but has no workout option if you are in the gym. Also has its own GPS and is waterproof as well as reasonably priced.
Thank you all for the tips!
