Soooo unfit

Hey, starting couch to 5k as I’m incredibly unfit and as I’m getting older I’m struggling to lose weight. Did my W1R2 today and I actually enjoyed it. I’m a bit tender but happy with my wee self that I want to do another run 😊😊😊

That’s the spirit. Enjoying it already huh? Good.

This programme will help you turn into a fat burning machine, just don’t expect too much in the early weeks. Get ready to use the tape measure as sometimes the scales don’t tell the whole truth. Celebrate a half inch off the thighs, a half inch off the waist etc.

2 runs in and you’re rocking it... stay positive when it gets tough, believe in yourself and the the plan. You can do this. Keep posting progress here and also any problems. People here have struggled to get past a run and can reassure and help you. Go slow, slow down when you need to.

Welcome

Just ran W3R3 tonight and had dry hair after! This suggests I'm improving in fitness I think. Still very out of breath and staggering towards the end. But it would seem as if I'm a morning running. No matter, enjoying it and enjoying the challenge. Sounds like you'll settle in just fine! Good luck!
