Week 2, aches and pains!

I’m only in week 2 and the past few days I’ve suffered with shin splints, as well as achey knees. Feeling very disappointed right now! Anyone else the same? I’ve left a slightly longer rest than I did last week but it’s very demotivating.

Perhaps you have been going too fast, just take it slow and steady, give yourself a few days off to recover then resume where you left off, don't give up.

You'll get all sorts of aches and pains during this programme - it does get better but for me they never completely went away. That's what your rest days are for. Remember, your body 'over heals' these niggles, and that’s how you get stronger. Good luck!

I'm week 2 too, and have also had the same pains. Taking a bit longer to rest in between helps me, plus lots of stretching before and after... Don't feel bad, we'll get there, you're not alone!
