Done it. Back to my familiar home route, and boy was it humid? Still, Iโm mighty relieved that it was a far more comfortable 28 minutes than R2 on Wednesday, and I really enjoyed it. Still ended up like a ๐ , but I guess thatโs just me!
My breathing isnโt always totally rhythmical, but it doesnโt bother me (it did during R2, but that run was gremlin-filled). Iโm sure I could move up a pace to express snail, but Iโm going to save that until after Iโve graduated (canโt believe itโs so close now!)
Sooooo, letโs be having you W9. See you on Monday!
Have fabulous weekends you lovely runners, whether youโre running, resting or polishing your new graduation badges .....

Woop woop!! You're going to rock W9 in style......doesn't matter what pace, all that matters is you'll soon be on that podium....reflecting on how much you've achieved!!!!
Ooo thanks, I canโt wait, Hotheels! ๐ Iโm going to miss this programme as itโs been so effective, and whenever you have a doubt about upping the minutes, your body is ready! Clever!
Yes back to hot Blighty. I really wouldnโt have minded 16 degrees, grey and drizzle!!
Thank you Beanjo. Isnโt it exciting? What day do you anticipate โthe dayโ to be? Iโm thinking Friday in my case. Iโm very excited but also a little sad because itโs been so much fun. Iโll definitely miss MJ!
Good luck next week!
I think mine will have to be Saturday as Friday is a grandma day for me. I know what you mean about a little bit sad though - Iโm hoping I can find some sort of structure when I continue to run. But yes- soooo excited
Best of luck to you. Youโll be amazing and youโll deserve your place on the podium.
Iโm personally going to see how long it takes me to eventually reach 5k in 30 minutes (I foresee a loooong time at my ๐๐ pace), and then try the 10k one - but crikey that sounds scary to me!
Good luck and have a great week!
Waaaaaaa, Iโm ridulously excited Flara! Itโs incredible how the programme gets you to this stage isnโt it? I used to dread the jump up from 60-90 seconds! ๐
Anyway, thank you so much for your encouragement. This forum is brill and so friendly!
Hope your run goes well Jundal! Youโre going to smash it! I think there might be a crowded podium coming up. Hope there are enough badges to go round! ๐
Hahaha, itโs true isnโt it? ๐ Iโm sure the breathing will become natural one day, Crawlhome! Mine isnโt too bad, but I definitely donโt do 4 breaths in and 4 breaths out regularly. Iโve tried - doesnโt work!!
You're going to love week 9 - it's just 2 extra minutes and you're 100% prepared for it. I had an absolute blast with it and enjoyed every single second. Go cheekychipmunks !
Thank you Mike! Yes it doesnโt seem much longer, but Iโm sure those 2 minutes will seem like an eternity! Absolutely canโt wait to get stuck in on Monday!
Thanks cheeseheads! Itโs getting close now! Canโt believe Iโm wishing Monday would hurry up and arrive!
No snails or turtles will be in your way, donโt worry. Youโll sail through R3 and then W9 will be ready for you! Letโs get to that podium!
Good Luck with W9 cheekychipmunks!
Good luck for the week ahead! I'll be starting wk9 with you tomorrow, although I may save the last run for Saturday morning, see you on the podium fellow runner!
