Hi, I've just started this week - did my first run on Monday and actually quite enjoyed it. Planning on doing the third session each week at my local Parkrun, hopefully see some improvement in time over duration of the programme.

I did the same. Walked the first in 48 minutes. Then each week started the ParkRun with the 5 minute warm up walk. Week by week you overtake more people. By week 7 I had to do the warm up before the start. Now down to 31:33. Good luck. Keep running 👌🏽
