By the end of week 8 I felt like a runner and dare I say it actually cruised 28 mins and comfortably broke below 8 mins per km (although I was never aiming for pace)
So I was looking forward to today and starting week 9 as when I started this app I doubted it would work and couldn’t ever see myself running
Anyway I was all set, new extended route planned, decent sleep last night, fully hydrated the whole shebang and off I went.
First 5 were tough but they always are. Then the next 5 were equally tough and by 15 mins I stumbled and nearly stopped but something in my head kicked in and I remembered all the training and advice on this forum I slowed right down got into my music, took in the sights of a beautiful sunny morning along the waters edge and dug deep.
Oh my god I got through it! I completed 30 minutes! I’m so proud of myself it’s silly really but I DID IT!!!!!!!!!
Only 2 more runs then graduation 😊
