I’m sure the brambles shouldn’t be this advanced in July - if you want to make jam make sure you hit the hedgerows early this year!
Anyway, did a lot of zigging and zagging to keep in the shade and on the flat as I’d to do the school run with the grandchildren so got out later today but it still was a bit of a struggle. Hot! Kept going though and my new gadget tells me I did 4.25k in my 30 min. Looked at more of the stats too and found my cadence was an average of 166 and max of 170 so I’m fairly slow but also steady!! Not sure I’ll hit the plus 10% this week but - heh - I’m a graduate so I can do whatever I want!! Still not gone naked yet (without Sarah) either. Thinking of a park run for run 3 but not sure whether others will inspire me or put me off. Will let you know on Saturday.
Happy running.

4.25k in 30 minutes sounds good to me. I'm still waiting for Amazon to deliver my Garmin, but I did run with a friend who had one and we did 4.3k in 30 minutes so the same as you.
Thank you Fab (feel I know you and can be familiar!!). I’d love to drive to pastures new like you but it’s so pretty around here I feel even a park would be a disappointment. Also it’s quiet and I don’t puff past too many people! 😓
😂 Be as familiar as you like Sybilw! It’s perfectly fine! 🤣!
Oh you lucky lady!!🤔....💡Well, keep sharing those photos. It’s nice to dream a bit too!!
As for puffing past, they get over it Sybilw, a morning and a wave and it’s a distant memory in about 0.5 seconds! Well, maybe not them, but it is for me anyway. In fact I’ve just recalled in one of my early runs, a man crossed the road as I was coming up. Purely coincidental I’m sure! There was no chance of me catching him up. 🤣❤️
Puffing is very minimal now compared to week 1. Remember when you sounded as if you were having an asthma attack and a convulsion combined?!! My favourite memory was catching up a girl on a very large horse. Not doing 🐎 - more it’s version of 🐌!!! Gave me an impression of speed though!!
