Hi, I’ve just completed week 2. Feel fine apart from really swollen ankles. Has anyone else had this? Does it go? I don’t want to stop but there are days I can barely walk because of it.

I did! I was overweight and on WW but still was at the puffy ankles stage They were painful and annoying. I had puffy ankles when I ran and puffy ankles when I didn’t. I did sprain my ankle as well early on in the programme too, which set me back for about a month, and kept me away from the jog club I’d joined.
I kept up with my healthy eating plan.,I’d stopped boozing, and I got back to the programme as soon as I could. After a while my puffy ankles got less puffy.
It might take two days rest between runs but that’s fine. I walked more while doing the programme, and have kept up with that since. Our ankles, and the rest of our bodies, strengthen over time while we are doing the programme, and beyond
I had never run a yard so I think it’s no surprise that i had issues early on. I had legs like concrete some days, painful knee which got better as I kept going. I kept plugging away though, slow but sure, and I got there. I’ve never stopped since
