This is for those of you out there who are despondent because they have struggled to complete C25K. I have tried W1 so many times. I am female age 68 in my younger days (40's) completed numerous 10k's & half marathons, started back exercising approx 2 1/2 years ago for over a year tried c25k legs will not comply. Instead of getting myself down i decided i would complete 5k which i now do 3 times a week, if my legs will take it i jog & walk or with this weather i briskly walk it takes me about 53 mins, the point is not everyone can complete the c25k i feel good that i am completing 5k 3 times weekly be it not all jogging at least i m not sat at home doing nothing as long you are out there getting fresh air & exercising that's what counts.

That last sentence you wrote was very important 'kbed' exercise, yes, I started with C25K as a continuation of all the exercises I do at home, I have cycled since age 7 but only ran starting in April, during the winter months I go long walks, not sure regarding running what I'll do then, I will keep up running to a certain extent, I have enjoyed C25K, I graduated on 18 June.
