Im proud to say that I completed the C25k plan on 2nd Jan after taking 10 weeks to do so.

I’m over the moon that I have finally finished this plan having failed on 2 previous attempts in the previous 6 years.

Whilst being off work with burn out and social anxiety this plan has provided me with the motivation and means to get out the door (early in the morning when no one bout) and get some exercise and improve my mental and physical health.

Never would I have believed at week 3 that I would be able to run (albeit at snail pace) for 30 minutes solid

I’ve since done 5km in 44 mins. Not the fastest pace but all moving time so I will happily take that.

Now planning to build strength and stamina to help me increase distance

Congratulations Loftycrown, it’s a great achievement πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ…πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

I’m an early morning runner too, much prefer it as the air quality is better and the streets are nice and empty. Since graduating I’ve used the Nike Run Club app for my consolidation runs, I’ve found the choice of coached runs on there ideal for increasing distance and it’s free too πŸ‘

Well done you!- this plan has helped my physical and mental well being SO, SO MUCH. I am now on consolidation runs and just making sure I do 3 runs a week, two short and one longer run (ice permitting). Keep going and your physical and mental well being with keep 'up' with you - I would be on the floor if I didn't have running in my life right now. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Congratulations! It’s so great to hear this as I have also been off work with stress and anxiety for a couple of months and I truly believe that this programme has helped more with my recovery than anything else. It’s such a boost to your self esteem and energy levels.I’m only on week 7, but absolutely determined to finish, as I too have tried and failed before!
