Hi, I started wk1 run 1 on Wednesday and did my second run yesterday. I’ve tried doing this before using other apps and even joined a local group but I’m determined to stick with it this time. Have to be honest I don’t see how I’ll get to 30 minutes running but I’m going to give it a go

You'll hear it a lot on here but honestly trust the process! My first run (6 weeks ago, eek) I barely made the 60 seconds each time but I stuck with it and on Thursday I ran for a straight 20 mins. It's not easy but each time you get more confident that you can do it.

Well done!

One step at a time is how you'll do it.

Find someone here at same level and "buddy up", it's nice to have someone to motivate you and report back to, I've found it a great help.

Forget the 30 minute thing and before you know it you'll be doing it.

You've already done two lots of 30 minutes without even thinking about it, there's an achievement already!

👍👍

Just focus on each running bit of each run and don’t worry beyond the moment you are in.

Few of us started thinking we could run 30 minutes. Many of us started thinking we’d “inevitably” drop out along the way when it got too hard. All of us are amazed how far we’ve gone, whether graduates or not.

Enjoy the next run.

I’ve also completed week 1 run 2 this morning 😊

Looking forward to being able to run for longer than 60 seconds. I’ve also tried different programmes etc, I’m ditching the excuses this time. Good luck and we will do this!
