Ran in shorts 😱 And the world didn't stop!

I got up, put on my shorts 😱 looked in the mirror - sensed a gremlin, didn't loook in the mirror again ~ and ran out the door.... it was already hot by 645am!! The gremlins were really having a go today, I did cave in momentarily but was back on track within the minute. Shout out to Sheryl Crow and The Lightning Seeds ~ Soaking up the sun 🌞 Pure & Simple ~ grateful for that 😊

Soak up the sun is one of my “happy place” tracks. I can have that on my headphones, shut my eyes, and I am on a Greek island on a sun lounger, all hot and relaxed, cold beer in hand. Works even in the winter.

I’m thinking shorts are required now too. I currently run in crop leggings which are comfy but I’m going to be doing Weeks 7 and 8 whilst on hols in Bavaria and I think I need to brave getting my scary legs out once and for all. What shorts do you have?

I'm waiting for mine to arrive - tomorrow I hope. Shorts with inner ones. Lucky for me I don't usually meet anyone on my routes. Wouldn't want to scare them with my legs!! So vaseline is they way to go, ok, noted. Normally wear below the knee lycra things but sooooooo hot!

Hi, I’ve been running in shorts since I started C25K 12 weeks ago. 🙂 No-one seems to bat an eyelid, and the world hasn’t stopped for me either. 😊

Just run in whatever’s comfortable for you, and don’t worry about anyone else. 😀

Everyone else running out there will respect you for being a runner, and the rest don’t matter anyway! 😂
