Hi everyone, just joined this site after starting couch to 5k last Tuesday morning. I’ve managed to get to W2R2 which I completed last night. I’ve been trying to get my runs in early morning before work but sometimes it’s not possible.

Finding it ok at the moment but panicking already about week 3 running for 3mins. I shouldn’t have looked ahead, it’s terrifying me.

Any advise to keep me going!

Don’t panic you’ll be fine 😁 if you’re finding it ok on W2R2 you’ll be good. Just keep it slow and easy😁. Good luck 😄

Welcome!

Be confident that there is no run on the programme that the programme hasn’t got you ready for when you reach it. We are all here to help. Enjoy the next one.

I found the jump from 90 seconds to 3 minutes terrifying! I really think it’s the seconds vs minutes language. As odd as that sounds. Keep slow and steady. I just finished week 3 last night and it isn’t that scary. You’ll do great

I remember looking ahead and scaring myself stupid. Just don't go too fast you can always go faster later. I have just finished W9 and thinking back I felt just like you so keep going and remember you can always repeat runs if you need to (it actually took me 11 weeks to get here) . Keep telling yourself you can do it and you will. Good luck

Trust the plan, keep going and go slow and steady ( to quote Oldfloss).

Hey ladybeer :) don’t panic! Honestly I was exactly the same, I never thought I would be able to step up to week 3 and now I’m approaching week 5

You can definitely do this, best bit of advice is slow down and take it easy :)
