Still very slow, but I’ve been trying to follow advice on here. The first half of my route includes 3 inclines (hills to me) but the second half is flat or downhill, then my cool down walk includes a real hill! I’d love to try a Parkrun, but since I only cover about 3.5K in 35 minutes, including warm up and down, that may be a while away. Never ran a step until 8 weeks ago though, so I’m quite proud 🤗
Wk7 complete!: Still very slow, but I’ve been... - Couch to 5K
Wk7 complete!

Well done on finishing W7!!! Don't worry about your time - it doesn't matter. Only 6 runs left until graduation - and you might be surprised how much extra distance those extra minutes make in W8 (and perhaps W9 - I'll let you know when I've done it!) but really it isn't about that either. Park Runs are super - pop along to watch if you like, or check out the website for your local park run (you can find it using the main park run website) and see what times the back of the field do on the latest results page - it might give you some confidence!
Thank you! That’s a good idea about going to watch, and checking results. There are two quite near me, but my son, who did C25K a few years ago, tells me one of them is quite hilly! I will be visiting him in Liverpool next week, so may manage a run there. Good luck to you for week 9!
