Starting over after heart attack

I went for a mile walk this morning after having a heart attack while doing my 3rd parkrun last Saturday - it felt so unnatural not to break out into a run! Anyhow, DR said I could walk the parkrun this Saturday then to start the couch to 5k from the beginning to get back to where I was - can't wait!

Sorry to hear about the Heart Attack.

Huge kudos for getting straight back out there, even if it is walking. Sounds like you have a good doctor.

Keep in touch, so we can all cheer....

Well done, that's amazing but look after yourself!

Good luck - glad you came through that okay. How times have changed, when I started my nurse training decades ago people who'd had heart attacks mobilised as far as trying a flight of stairs on day 10 before they went home!!!!
