I've just completed this run I see everyone pace is 10 or lower mine is 13 and above. Am I doing anything wrong?

I'll b honest n say that I don't quite understand the pace but I know according to my graphs in Samsung health that i run faster than I walk even if it doesn't feel like that to me. All that matters tho is you went out and ran does it matter how fast you go? I've done 2 parkruns n judge my speed on how long it takes me to run and walk the 5k (1st 47 mins 2nd 42 mins) as I can't run it all yet but there is a steepish hill climb for 700m in my parkrun. Keep going out and running you will evenly get faster but slow and steady is the way to go. Sorry if this seems like I'm rambling Xx

Run at what pace is comfortable for you. Don't compare yourself to others! You're doing great! You are a runner now! Embrace your inner snail! I have! 🐌🐌

I notice you're measuring in mins/mile - are others?? I know I measure in mins/km. In min/km your pace is 8.2 min/km

Just to reiterate what Ang3333 has said - don't compare and I have found slow and steady wins the day - or at least means I finish the run!
I am now definitely going to embrace my inner snail☺

Slow is just fine. New runners will be slower than those with miles on their legs. Enjoy your running, it’s fab! 😃👍🏃♀️
