There is no such thing as failure when you have gone out there and given it your best shot, if you give up completely, that could be classed as failure, I am sure you will complete the run next time out, I bet you couldn't imagine running for 18 minutes a few months agi, that sounds like a success to me

The heat is not only a problem when you are actually running, it is sapping your energy all of the time (especially overnight at the moment) and ruining your hydration. Make sure you get lots of water onboard in the day before the next run.
Don't be downhearted, it's the heat! I graduated a few week ago but could only do 20 mins on one of my runs last week as it was so hot. You can only do what your body allows, and as others say, all good practice.
You didn’t fail it’s just them damn gremlins get in your legs and your mind!!!! Banish them!!! You are amazing for getting to this point and it’s onwards and upwards for you. Lots of support and encouragement on here so stay focused. We have all had a wobble or 5😂😂
