It probably means you’re overdoing it. Take another rest day and go slower. I could barely get upstairs after Run 1...

Where are they aching? My calves used to get very tight and sore so I invested in a calf roller.

Yes it's my calf. I'll look into a calf roller thanks.

Because they are doing something new😏 Normal aches and pains at this stage...warm up well before every run..stretch well after each and every run too.

With each run you get stronger..take it steady and slow and enjoy 😊

I found it easier and less painful if I put a two day rest between R1 and R2 of each new week, with the increase in running distance.

Rest some more and slow down on your next run. Your legs are getting used to your new infliction upon them! 😬😊

I had the same problem but it seemed to ease up after Week 3, which I assume means that the legs are getting stronger and used to this form of exercise. So keep going and good luck!

I bought a roller too. Makes me want to pretend to be a car as I roll around on it but it’s really helped.
