For all you people out there who are worrying about the lack of speed, don’t worry. I finished C25k couple of weeks ago and was still only running around 3k over the 30 mins. Since then I have increased my distance and time running and am starting to increase speed a little. It’s not how fast but having the determination to set and reach a goal. My goal is to do a 5k Park run. I did 4K yesterday over 35 mins. Slow and steady wins the race.
Speed ? Don’t worry. 4K achieved by the plodder. - Couch to 5K

I agree with that. I graduated earlier this week, when I started I was barely able to do 3K in 30 mins including the time for walk, however by the end of the program I was at 4K in 30 mins just the running bit.
So the pace do come with time, so I’m not worried about not being able to don5K in 30 mins, slowly that will come through the time I’ll invest in running.
