Iβm clearly very ignorant of human anatomy and our biomechanics but I didnβt realise we have a muscle across the front of our shins. I can see mine now π³

Discovered a new muscle

Is that the anterior tibialis by any chance?
Now Iβm prodding and poking at my legs to find mine as I canβt see it! Maybe I havenβt got them! π¨
Mate, I didnβt know it was there until moments ago let alone know Itβs Latin name π€£π€£π€£
I think this is a side effect of a long run. Perhaps they will flatten back down.
Wow, I've been on some long runs (including a half marathon) but don't seem to have any. Maybe I need to run further.

I canβt see mine but youβre clearly developing runners legs! π

This is just the beginning π€£π

No sign of mine !! π
No sign of anything on my shins, despite poking and prodding. If I've got them they don't hurt and that's always good!

I love that weβre all reading this and pulling our trouser legs up to have look. What an image ππ. No sign of that muscle but my legs need shaving π±π

I've found dozens of muscles I didn't know I had or forgotten about. Everyone of them is reminding me that they exist with every move I make, usually the day after each run.

can work on them at the gym. i no pro but its like a reverse calf raise. π
What is this βgymβ of which you speak?? π€
Is that Gym who lives at No 56?
Weirdly both my next door neighbours are called Jim. Jim and Sue one side, Jim and Steph the other.

That's the wonderful thing about exercise - we're using our bodies as nature intended. We are designed to run around, lift and carry but advances in technology have moved us away from all those things. When I first started exercising around 4 years ago I couldn't believe how different it felt just to walk upstairs! I could feel every muscle working as it was supposed to - and not just when they were sore π
No sign of mine either but also just notices I also need a shave on the furry legs πββοΈπ€£ too late now off to work π
Thanks for that jay ππ
You'll have to put pic on so we can see these leg muscles as we are just not seeing ours ππ

You calved the way to bigger muscles π
