Just finished run 3 of week 8 and I can't believe how far I've come. I started out as a total non runner but I am a keen walker so not totally inactive but the first few weeks were so tough.
The run today was far from easy and I had to have a mental argument with myself to keep going on a couple of occasions. However my goal is to finish next week before the summer holidays start so I kept going, with my stubborn streak not wanting to have to redo a run! I even managed my second longest distance of 4.8 km including my warm up and cool down walks.
I want to encourage those starting out on this journey - if I can run for 28 minutes non stop then there's hope for everyone. Just stick with it 🙂
