First run I did on wk 8 was fine but this one was really hard.

Maybe it was the bacon roll my little boy brought me in bed for Father’s Day and promptly dropped it with a big wet brown saucy splat on the floor before he could pass it to me 😣

He was so upset I picked it up off the floor re assembled it and ate it reassuring him it was not only ok but delicious!........ I spent the next 10 mins picking white cat hairs from around my tonsils 🤢.

So after that joyesness I went for my run and got a stitch after the first 2 mins that didn’t go away for the whole run. Towards the end I thought I was having appendicitis.

Still did it though and with a time improvement to boot !

I thought the podcasts were 30 mins long but that says 40 on my running app 🤔

Week 8 is 28 minutes actual running with a five minute walk before and after so should be 38 minutes. If your app was running for the intro and the wee pep talk at the end that might take it to 40?

Happy Father's Day Forestgrump, it is not just running that you can get a stitch, before I began C25K I got a stitch just walking, I was just into the first 4 minutes and ouch, my leg just above my ankle went sore suddenly, I did continue my walk (BTY the same route that I ran the third run of week 6 of C25K without a stitch, about 4 months later) but as you say it is very awkward continuing with it.

Is that speedy?. I have no idea. I certainly didn’t feel speedy!. More like the lurching the zombies do on that program the walking dead 😁
