I had a few Achilles issues after getting to week 7, run 2 and had ten days off after strict instructions from my physio. I am allowed to run again, but back to week five to avoid any repeat issues, but I am struggling with every run now. I went from doing 25 minute runs with no real hassle, maybe a few stops for a couple of seconds, but now I feel like I am struggling to even get through five minutes. Has anyone else had this and what can I do to get my head and body back into the game?

I’m no expert, but in 10 days you won’t have any significant loss of fitness. Perhaps try slowing right down and then stay slow. Make sure you are relaxed as you run. If you are tense, looking for signs of injury that might not help.😄
I had to take 4months off due to illness & initially felt “back to square one“. However, just a few weeks on, I realised that there was still some residual fitness there.
I’m sure it will come right. 😃
