Well done!

Now don't get carried away! Forget 10k for now, consolidate 30 Min runs then onto 5k first..

I can’t do 5k in 30 minutes, more like 3!!! I’m going for endurance, so I will start the Bridge to 10K, but I will do it at my pace.

I gathered that, that's why I said 30 minutes runs then building to 5k first!

Thanks for your advice. I know what you are trying to say and you are further ahead with your running than me. I won’t undo all the good work I have done 😊

Congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.

As davelinks suggests, consolidation is the name of the game after you complete C25K, especially if you are nowhere near 5k in 30 minutes, as outlined in the guide to post C25K running healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

There is no point starting a programme that is pushing distance until you are totally comfortable with running for thirty minutes.........give it two weeks at least.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Hi, thank you. I read the guide before I started. I can run for 30 minutes very comfortably. I will repeat what I’ve just done for another 2 weeks as per your guide and then increase by 10%. I’m just so thrilled with my progress that I’m trying to run before I can walk (excuse the pun). After I finished my run yesterday, I found that I had improved my time without even trying, my time per Km had improved by about 25 seconds!!! My fitness levels were very good when I started. I have been power walking for quite a few years and regularly walk 5 miles. I also do lots of resistance/weight training to help keep strong. I am very lucky, I have lots of friends in the fitness industry who have been telling me to try this programme. I didn’t think I could do it, but they did. I love running, I feel really exhilarated when I am running. Thank you for your help and advice.

Well done! Enjoy the glory and a whole new world of running.👍😊🏃🏾‍♀️

A few consolidation runs to put some miles on your legs and then start building, following the 10% rule. Have fun 😊
