Hey all, newbie couch to 5k'er! Tonight I'm going out on my first jaunt with Sarah Millican, hoping that I don't lose the little bit of motivation I've got throughout the day to a almond magnum and a early night!!
Tonight is the night!: Hey all, newbie couch to... - Couch to 5K
Tonight is the night!
Good luck I'm now on week 7 all I can say is stick with it and make sure that you clear time in your schedule to get the runs in and you will start looking forward to the runs
Well done, good decision! Just enjoy it, well as much as you can! You might find it more enjoyable if you start off far slower than you think you should. Many people, me included, start off too fast and run out of energy. If your jogging speed is just a little faster than your walking speed that’s probably about right for the earlier weeks. Good luck!

Enjoy your journey.
Welcome! Don’t sap your motivation thinking “will I? / won’t I?” Just fling on some comfy clothes and scamper out of the door!😃
When I started, I planned my running days in advance, then didn’t allow myself to question that, (unless I was ill). Now on a run day, I feel excited all day looking forward to my run! 😄
Do it, do it, do it!!!
You know you want to and you're going to feel great when you do. 👍😁
You have already made a good decision but deciding to do it - keep em coming! I am on week 7 can’t believe i am doing it - enjoy.
Ps. I started with Sarah but moved to Jo 🤣
Hope i make it to week 7 like you, that's great. I was hoping Sarah would make me laugh my way through it 😂🤔
Annoyingly all the coaches say the same thing lol!
I’ve only ever used Jo and I find her voice just so nice to listen to ahah! I’m sure Sarah’s is the same, but it definitely won’t be a joke a minute kinda thing
Good luck and don’t worry about going slow. It took me 15 minutes to catch up to and pass a dog walker strolling gently with his dog this morning , but I was in the middle of my first 10k so I don’t care!!!
Go as slow as you like ... and then go a bit slower too
I did W1R2 this morning and was actually surprised to find that I enjoyed it. Just imagine how pleased you’ll feel afterwards!
