I had a really bad run on Wednesday morning (a combination of not hydrated before, not in the right head space and not enough rest between runs), so I had a bit of trepidation for this morning's run 3.
But I did it! I ran for the scheduled 28 minutes straight, walked for two minutes, and then ran another 12 minutes because I wanted to get a 5k in at some point in this program and it wasn't too hot this morning so it felt like the right time. I am so thrilled with it! I may not be fast, but I'm running!
Only one week left! Eek!

Well done, but the programme is structured as it is for sound scientific reasons. Sure you can push further and harder than the programme if you wish, but what is the hurry and why take the risk?
The majority of experienced graduates would urge caution, stick to the plan and it will no doubt get you safely running for thirty minutes at graduation.
