Week 2: injury strikes

I completed W2R1 on Sunday. I got through the longer runs mainly because of the support of the ladies running with me: I think if I’d been on my own I would have walked two of the runs. I found it difficult but was pleased I did it.

On Monday I felt something wrong with my left knee, clearly I did something to it on Sunday. I had to cancel a planned walk, and push back my planned W2R2 from Tuesday to today.

Today I felt a bit better and competed W2,R2, albeit at a slow pace. I still found it challenging but wasn’t tempted to do any walking. It’s been a rockier week so far than I expected, but I’m pleased with my progress.

Well done. Look after your injury, last thing you want just now. Maybe a few days out would help. 🤞
