I feel your pain. Literally. I can’t put any weight on my heal today. Am resting it up and praying it’s not plantar fasciitis. Hope you’re on the mend soon.
Have you tried rolling a tennis ball under your foot? Can really help loosen tight plantar fascia (under your foot) which can lead to heel pain. Obviously stop if it causes too much pain, but this worked for me and I still do this after a long run.
I’ve been doing it with a rolling pin....I won’t be using it for pastry again 😃. I’m going to take your advice and keep doing the exercises even after the pains gone.
I got a gait analysis done and invested in good running shoes. I have also had insoles made as I have incredibly flat feet. Really didn’t want to spend all that money but I don’t get the pains in my feet and my Achilles that I used to spend it was a good investment.
