So tonight was a difficult one to get motivated for, a run after my first day back to work after 2 weeks off. Tired and hungry when I came through the door and considered putting this run off until tomorrow.
A snack and 15mins of chilling out and off I set in any case. I'm a creature of habit and have stuck to the same route for every run so far. It was easy to see progress as the turning point kept getting further away from home but I found I lost momentum turning so tonight I did my first loop! It was a long slog and the last 5 mins felt really tough. I'm not sure if this was because I couldnt guestimate when Sarah would say stop running or if I was just tired after working today. Done and dusted in any case and that's the end of week 7! On to week 8 on Wed/Thursday this week. Happy running everyone!
