'Just about managing' is all any of us do! Keep going and move on to week 3 - you are ready. Forget about week 9, that’s for the future. Pat yourself on the back for your achievements so far 👏👍

Your body develops by adapting to the ever increasing physical challenge, so I would say keep up the momentum. How do you know you can't complete the next run, unless you try?

If you don't complete it, you have found your level, so repeat that run, not some earlier, easier run.

You can do it.

I got really achy legs for the first 5-6 weeks of C25k. My poor legs, they had not really been exercised that much for years, so it is understandable. They just need to get stronger, and that takes a little time. Oh, and make sure you are drinking plenty of water the day before your runs. I have heard that dehydration can cause "heavy legs", but by the sound of things you are just aching from exertion.

You could consider taking 2 days rest between runs, too. I do that sometimes, just to give my legs extra recovery time after longer runs.
