Hi im Stephen,

I've decided to do a 5k Fun run in october for a charity that i learnt about from a local drag queen. Bonus is im 18 stone and hopefully the training will help me lose weight and become a better person.

Hi Stephen90,

What a great decision to start running! The C25k app is a great way of slowly building up to 30minutes of running. I myself started healthy eating (monitoring with MyfitnessPal) and running according to the Couch to 5k Plan at around the same time and started myself at almost 18stone too, Im sure that you will see great progress!

Good luck and well done on the first step

Fair enough, I'm sure there is an alternative that may be easy for you to use.

For me i found it quite simple as id scan the barcode and weigh my food as i went a long.

I'm sure you will smash your 5k Fun Run!

Fun runs for charity are a great thing to sign up for and get us running. Your timing is perfect, I started in June several years ago with an October event. Sadly, no drag queens at mine. You'll be great.
