Fit and strong, I can walk forever - but running? Never. Ever. Even as a child. And now, Week 5! I was even disappointed to get to the end of yesterday's last 5 minute run. I could have run on. Slowly. This community's been the perfect place to lurk. Thank you, braver souls, more willing than me to share those early 'how sure I am that I'll succeed' weeks. So many people pushing through the barriers, in my exact same 50-something position. But most credit to my running team who I have no doubt could carry on an awful lot longer already! They really help. Rock on Friday's wk 5:2. Yeeks 😅

Nice photo of your dogs, Morrisj, like you I have walked for years and years as an exercise, also exercised and cycled for over 40 years since age 7, however, running was a past time I never did, except at school where I was quite good at, I did win a few sprints at school. When I found this site it inspired me to try and start running again, so far it has gone very well for me, yes I have succeeded with my C25K program, I hope you succeed as well. As you say "rock on"
